PETALING JAYA (April 3): Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has secured a RM98.79 million contract for the construction of a private hospital in Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today (Friday, April 3), the group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from Sena Letrik (M) Sdn Bhd for the project.

The contract covers the main building works, mechanical and electrical (M&E), as well as external works for a private hospital complex at Bandar Seremban Utama, Seremban 2. The development will comprise an eight-storey hospital building with a basement level, located on Lots 27069 and 27070.

The project will commence immediately upon acceptance and is scheduled for completion within 18 months.

The group said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial years ending 2026 to 2027, while also strengthening its existing order book. It will not have any effect on the company’s issued share capital.

None of the directors, major shareholders or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the contract.

Kerjaya Prospek Group closed unchanged at RM2.15 today (April 3, 2026), maintaining a RM2.72 billion market cap and a 5.81% dividend yield. Despite a morning high of RM2.20, the stock remained technically resilient, closing 19.44% above its 52-week low of RM1.80. With a defensive Beta of 0.5469 and a stable 12.04x P/E ratio, the counter continues to serve as a construction sector benchmark following its recent March 26 dividend payout.
