KUALA LUMPUR (May 13): Bank of America has opened its new office at Merdeka 118 here, underlining the bank’s long-term commitment to Malaysia.

The inauguration ceremony on April 30 was attended by Bank of America's international president, Bernard Mensah; Asia-Pacific president, Jin Su; Malaysia country executive, Gautam Puntambekar; and other Bank of America guests.

In a statement on Wednesday, the bank announced that it remains committed to delivering profits with purpose as it drives responsible growth for its employees, clients and communities in Malaysia.

The Bank of America Malaysian office and offerings span corporate and commercial banking services, treasury and trade solutions, foreign exchange and fixed income sales and trading, and investment banking.

The bank has emphasised its commitment to delivering profits with purpose while driving responsible growth for its employees, clients, and communities in Malaysia.

The move marks a new phase for the Bank of America, which first entered Malaysia in 1959.
