PETALING JAYA (Aug 11): Malaysian property developer Armani Group plans to introduce  selected developments to buyers and investors in Kazakhstan through business consultancy TBay and real estate agency Etagi.

Under the memorandum of understanding, TBay will act as Armani Group's consultancy partner for its Kazakhstan market initiative, while Etagi will support the market introduction through its local real estate network, said Armani  Group in a press release on Monday (Aug 7).

Armani Hallson KLCC will be the first project introduced under the initiative, which may subsequently be extended to selected developments within its portfolio.

The signing event, held at The St Regis Astana on Thursday (Aug 6), was attended by business leaders, investors and high-net-worth individuals from Malaysia and Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Tourism Malaysia and the Malaysian Embassy.

Armani Group sales and marketing director William Lau said the initiative was prompted by enquiries and interest from Kazakhstan investors and families in Malaysia's luxury residential market.

"Kazakhstan is a market that has shown encouraging interest in Malaysia's luxury property segment.

"Over time, we have seen enquiries and interest from Kazakhstan investors and families seeking quality developments with strong long-term value. We believe this is the right time to bring Armani Hallson KLCC closer to this market," Lau said in the statement.

TBay founder Clinton Ooi said the collaboration reflects growing awareness among Kazakhstan buyers of Malaysia's property investment market, alongside the country's appeal as a destination for tourism, healthcare and education.

Ooi said Malaysia-based CSQ International Consulting facilitated the collaboration.

Etagi representative Ildar Borisovich Khusanov said Kazakhstan buyers of overseas property are increasingly seeking confidence, clarity and access to suitable opportunities.

"Through Etagi's local network and understanding of the Kazakhstan market, we aim to make Malaysian real estate more accessible to qualified buyers and investors who are looking for quality developments with long-term value," he said.
