PETALING JAYA (Aug 21): Alpha Galaxy Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Billion Group for the proposed development of a B-Grocer supermarket at Galaxy Exchange, its 166-acre mixed-use development in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
In a press release on Friday (Aug 21), Alpha Galaxy said approximately 2.037 acres within Galaxy Exchange have been allocated for the proposed supermarket development.
Billion Group plans to introduce its B-Grocer brand at the development, offering fresh produce, daily essentials and value-oriented pricing to nearby residential communities and commercial areas.
B-Grocer is positioned as a neighbourhood supermarket concept focused on convenience, accessibility and service under the tagline “Always Closer” (Sentiasa Dekat).
Alpha Galaxy said Galaxy Exchange is envisioned as a commercial and lifestyle destination incorporating retail, dining and community-oriented offerings. The developer expects the proposed B-Grocer outlet to serve as a key anchor, generate regular footfall and support the development’s wider retail offering.

According to Alpha Galaxy, Galaxy Exchange has connectivity of about 10 to 15 minutes to major highways including the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH), Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), West Coast Expressway and Guthrie Corridor Expressway.
Galaxy Avenue has RM506m GDV
Galaxy Avenue, which forms part of Galaxy Exchange, spans 25 acres and has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM506 million.
The development comprises 204 double-storey shoplots with built-up areas ranging from approximately 2,930 sq ft to 3,765 sq ft.
Selected corners and adjacent units feature double-volume upper floors, with the option to add mezzanine space.
The units are available for sale and leasing, with prices starting from RM2.09 million. Alpha Galaxy said completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
