WCT said WCT Bhd had on Friday (Sept 14) accepted the letter of award from Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd.

So far in FY18, Sunway Construction (SunCon) had secured new jobs worth a total of RM854 million, while its outstanding construction order book now stands at RM5.6 billion. Currently, it is eyeing a third-party superstructure job (it stands a very good chance by virtue of it being the piling contractor for the project), as well as parent Sunway Bhd’s various new hospital and shopping mall projects.

The upside risk, according to one research house, for WCT is more job wins, while the downside risks are weaker sales and further delays in the group’s real estate investment trust plans.

The draft plan is being displayed at Level Three in Komtar on Penang Island and the Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) on the mainland.

To cost RM150 million, the project aims to draw rich yacht owners from across the globe, said UEM Sunrise chief operating officer Datuk Roslan Ibrahim.

One charge involves the purchase of supplements that enhance growth hormone levels by more than 600% “if consumed rigorously”.

Its group managing director Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin said the recognition proves its commitment over the years to sustainability by embedding such practices in it business value chain.

WCT said the works under the contract are expected to be completed within a period of 38 months, adding that the Contract is expected to commence in September 2018.

Sivarraajh said the former Barisan Nasional federal government had approved a RM40 million plan to ease the traffic congestion in Cameron Highlands during holidays and extended weekends.

State Housing, Local Government and Environment Committee chairman Tey Kok Kiew said from a legal standpoint, the government is not able to call off the project easily as the agreement was signed by the former Barisan Nasional-led government.
