Selangor today recorded 1,510 newly confirmed Covid-19-infected individuals compared with 2,291 yesterday.

Of the 86 new Covid-19 deaths, 20 were registered in Selangor, 14 in Johor, 13 in Negeri Sembilan, seven in Kuala Lumpur, five in Sarawak, four in Kedah, three each in Sabah, Melaka, Pahang, Perak, Labuan and Penang, two each in Kelantan and Terengganu, and one in Perlis
Total fatalities now stand at 3,096, almost double the toll as of May 1. The virus has killed 1,575 individuals in the country over the past month.
