KUALA LUMPUR: KLCC Property Holdings Bhd posted a net profit of RM706 million for its financial year ended March 31, 2011 (FYE2010), up from the net profit of RM647.6 million posted for FYE2009.

Malton post higher profit for its third quarter

KUALA LUMPUR: Malton Bhd recorded a net profit of RM26.3 million for its third quarter ended March 31, 2011 (3Q2011), on the back of revenue of RM116.4 million.

The results marked a significant improvement over its net profit of RM3.6 million and revenue of RM64.9 million posted a year ago.

Housing starts fall 10.6% as uncertainty continues

Sixteen 10th MP projects using green technology

BANTING: Green technology is being used to construct 11 buildings and five roads under the 10th Malaysia Plan, Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said on May 19.

The projects are now in various stages of completion, he told reporters after opening a factory of the German company NAUE Asia Sdn Bhd in Teluk Panglima Garang near here.

Guocoland China aims to develop Guoson Mall into Beijing's symbolic landmark

BEIJING: The property arm of Hong Leong Group, GuocoLand China Limited's (GLC) plans to develop its first shopping mall in Beijing into one of Beijing's symbolic landmarks.

Guoson Mall has so far attained 50 per cent occupancy, says Managing Director Violet Lee.The occupancy is expected to touch 75 per cent by end of July, she told  a media interview here.
