KUALA LUMPUR:  There has been no indication from the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) that it will pare down its stake in Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB), said its CEO Datuk Ahmad Zaini Othman.

“They are supporting our rights issue and any decision to divest anything will be at the shareholders’ level,” he told reporters after MBSB’s AGM and EGM here yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Resources Bhd recorded at net profit of RM21.9 million from a net loss of 397,000 a year ago, in its fourth quarter (4Q) financial statements ended Jan 31, 2011, it announced on Thursday, Mar 31.

Revenue however, dropped by 54% to RM30.7 million from RM66 million the previous year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Crescendo Corporation Bhd achieved a net profit increase of 286% to RM14.3 million from RM3.7 million a year ago in its fourth quarter (4Q) financial statements ended January 31. The Group announced this on Thursday, Mar 31 along with its revenue upped 31.2% to RM56.7 million from RM43.2 million the previous year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Europlus Bhd garnered a net loss of RM24.1 million following a net loss of RM5.7 million a year ago, it revealed in its fourth quarter (4Q) financial statements ended Jan 31. The group also announced on Thursday, Mar 31 that its revenue dropped by 60% to RM7.5 million from RM19 million.

KUALA LUMPUR: Talam Corporation Bhd records a net loss of RM81 million from a net profit of RM5.8 million a year ago. This was revealed in its fourth quarter (4Q) financial statements ended Jan 31, the group announced on Thursday, Mar 31. Revenue dropped 24% to RM57.8 million from RM75.6 million the previous year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Delloyd Ventures Bhd acquired two pieces of freehold land with a paint shop in Mukim Hulu Bernam Timur, Daerah Batang Padang, Perak for RM18 million, it announced on Thursday, March 31.

Delloyd Ventures's wholly-owned subsidiary Delloyd Industries Sdn Bhd entered into the sales and purchase agreement on behalf of the group.

KUALA LUMPUR: JAKS Resources Bhd achieved a 43% hike in revenue to RM76.1 million from RM53.4 million a year ago in its first quarter (1Q) financial statements, the group announced on Thursday, Mar 31.

"The increase was mainly due to the higher revenue contributed from recognition of works done for the projects in the construction division," the group said.
