KUALA LUMPUR: Bandar Raya Developments Bhd posted a 4Q2010 net profit of RM20.04 million and RM157.45 million in revenue for the same year. The group closed its financial year ending Dec 31, 2010 (FYE 2010) with RM626.2 million in revenue and RM125.6 million net profit.

KUALA LUMPUR: United Malayan Land Bhd's (UMLand) net profit for its fourth quarter (4Q2010) recorded an increase of 103% to RM26 million, compared to RM12.8 million in 3Q2010.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Holdings Bhd closed the year with a net profit of RM162.6 million, the highest annual profit since the group listing. The previous high was at RM158 million net profit in 1999.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mulpha International Bhd chalked up a lower pre-tax profit of RM55.126 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2010 from RM61.371 million registered in the same quarter of 2009.

However, revenue rose to RM279.135 million, for the quarter under review, from RM235.865 million recorded previously.

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Tong Kooi Ong, chairman of Sunrise Bhd and The Edge Communications Sdn Bhd, has been appointed a non-independent and non-executive director of UEM Land Holdings Bhd, according to a statement from UEM Land said.

Tong's entry into UEM Land follows the government-linked company's acquisition of Sunrise to create Malaysia's largest listed property development company.
