KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 19): The Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF) has increased its shareholding in IOI Properties Group Bhd, according to a substantial shareholder filing with Bursa Malaysia.

EPF acquired 1,269,200 ordinary shares on Feb 12, 2026. Following the transaction, the pension fund holds 359,239,432 shares, representing 6.524% of IOI Properties’ total issued shares.

The filing was made pursuant to Section 138 of the Companies Act 2016.

In a separate filing dated the same day, group chief executive officer (CEO) and substantial shareholder Datuk Lee Yeow Seng disclosed that he had acquired 10,690,300 ordinary shares in the open market on Feb 16, 2026.

Following the acquisition, Lee’s direct interest increased to 86,621,900 shares (1.573%), based on the company’s total of 5,506,145,375 voting shares as at Feb 19, 2026.

His indirect or deemed interest remains unchanged at 3,616,063,741 shares (65.673%), held by virtue of his interest in Vertical Capacity Sdn Bhd pursuant to Section 8 of the Companies Act 2016.

Total shareholding after the change stands at 3,702,685,641 shares.

Both disclosures fall under the reporting requirements for changes in the interests of substantial shareholders.
