KUALA LUMPUR: Perak Corporation posted a net profit of RM4.38 million for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010, on the back of revenue of RM28 million, the company said on Wednesday, Aug 25.

The company recorded a revenue and net profit of RM27.4 million and RM4.42 million in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mudajaya Group Bhd posted revenue and net profit of RM208.6 million and RM54.22 million respectively for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010.

The company recorded net profit of RM26.48 million on the back of revenue of RM182.7 million a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: United Malayan Land Bhd posted revenue and net profit of RM63.8 million and RM4.16 million respectively for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010.

Comparatively, the company posted revenue and net profit of RM49 million and RM6.28 million respectively in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd posted a net loss of RM156,000 for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010, on the back of revenue of RM108.47 million.

Comparatively, the company posted revenue and net profit of RM9.91 million and RM9.45 million respectively in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: Naim Holdings Bhd posted a net profit of RM24.36 million for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010, up 7.5% compared with net profit RM22.65 million posted a year ago.

The company's revenue for the quarter under review stood at RM156 million, compared with RM134.3 million recorded a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: TRC Synergy Bhd posted a net profit of RM7.51 million for its second quarter (2Q) ended June 30, 2010, on the back of revenue RM97.03 million.

Comparatively, the company posted a net profit of RM11.5 million in the same quarter a year ago, and RM3.05 million in the preceding quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: JMR Conglomeration Bhd posted a net profit of RM412,000 for its first quarter (1Q) ended June 30, 2010, a 69.5% decline compared with net profit RM1.353 million posted a year ago.

Its revenue for the quarter under review stood at RM 5.87 million, down from RM8.73 million posted for the same period a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Land & General Bhd (L&G) recorded a net profit of RM1.39 million for its first quarter (1Q) ended June 30, 2010, down 83.7% from RM8.54 million posted for the same period a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter under review stood at RM6.01 million, which is marginally lower than revenue RM6.11 million posted for the same period a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Goodyear Bhd posted a net loss of RM8.83 million for its financial year ended June 30, 2010, (FYE 2010) on the back of revenue of RM311.6 million.

Comparatively, the company posted a net loss of RM24.2 million for FYE 2009, on the back of revenue RM333.7 million.

KUALA LUMPUR: Straits Quay retail mall, developed by Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O) in its Seri Tanjung Pinang development in Penang, is scheduled for opening by end-November, E&O executive director Eric Chan said.
