With 12 years of experience in the real estate industry, Karen Ng’s journey began with a humble RM600 rental deal. That first success, while small, was enough to ignite a passion that has since propelled her to the top of her field. Over the years, she has evolved from a solo residential agent to a leader specializing in high-end commercial properties.
Ng's biggest breakthrough moment came when she realized she couldn't achieve her goals alone. It was a pivotal decision that unlocked her millionaire journey.
The biggest breakthrough was deciding to stop going it alone and instead focus on building a team.
Her daily performance is driven by a disciplined mindset. She makes it a habit to constantly reflect on her purpose, believing that this internal check is crucial for consistent motivation.
“I always remind myself: Why did I join the real estate industry in the first place? What is my goal?” she said.
Her dedication to open communication and delegating tasks creates a high-energy environment for her team, allowing her to maintain high performance while managing client relationships, team dynamics, and her personal life. For her, success is no longer just about personal achievement but about the collective success of her team.
Ng's advice to younger agents is both practical and profound. She encourages them to start small and build a strong foundation, emphasizing that true success is about consistency and a strong reputation built on integrity.
“To achieve ‘big,’ you must first be able to be ‘steady.’ You must be willing to listen, willing to learn, and willing to do,” Ng explained.
“What I want to leave behind isn't a legacy of ‘how great I am,’ but that those who succeed with me years later will say, ‘Because of you, I dared to start, and I believed I could succeed too,’” she stated.
Her legacy is not about her own numbers but about the lives she has impacted. She hopes to inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams.
