KUALA LUMPUR: Dijaya Corporation Bhd has acquired 36 parcels of vacant leasehold tracts, or a total of 1.8 acres in the vicinity of Sunway Mentari for RM19.5 million from Mentari Land Sdn Bhd.

According to the Bursa announcement, the properties have direct frontage onto Jalan Kelang Lama and the acquisition is in line with the developer’s direction to increase its land bank for development to generate sustainable income for the group. Dijaya through its subsidiary Mawar Hebat Sdn Bhd plans to carry out a commercial development on the site. The lease on the land expires on April 11, 2101.
