Construction services company Tuju Setia Bhd is tendering for RM2.8 billion worth of projects to build high-rise and industrial buildings, as well as hospitals and healthcare facilities.

“The nature of proptech is such that its solutions are end to end. Functional silos often seen in many real estate companies constrain the end-to-end solutions that proptech has to offer. A single solution may require multiple stakeholders to agree,” said EdgeProp’s Ong.

The achievement marks Desa ParkCity as the first Malaysian entry to be shortlisted and awarded by the ULI APAC Awards for Excellence programme, widely recognised as one of the region’s most prestigious awards in the development community, the developer said in a statement today.

The property belonging to Sime Darby Property (Nilai) Sdn Bhd in Setul district consists of a single-storey factory building with a two-storey office building, Dynaciate said in a stock exchange filing.

The construction company plans to raise RM21.57 million via a private placement of up to 479.29 million shares or 30% of its total issued shares at an issue price to be determined later.

Situated on a 596-acre site in Genting Highlands, Tropicana WindCity will be anchored by Tropicana Paradise, comprising 308 acres of commercial and residential components as well as a 38-acre integrated entertainment hub with proposed branded serviced residences, five-star international branded hotels, a theme park and a shopping mall.

The contract, which was awarded by Daksina Harta Sdn Bhd, involves the construction of two blocks of serviced apartments (1,605 units) and two-storey retail shop lots (20 units), as well as one block of car park podium and related facilities at Lot 100961 Seksyen 9, Jalan Cheras in Kajang.

In a bourse filing on Monday (June 20), the company said its unit Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award from Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd for the main building of the development at Lorong Maarof.
