Scientex said it plans to launch a mixed development project on the land, with its gross development value yet to be determined.

The group’s profit after tax (PAT) has increased to RM19.4 million in 2QFY21, compared to the RM2.9 million a year ago.

The land will be given to a private company, Gabungan Indah Sdn Bhd, for a mixed-commercial development.

The group has recorded approximately RM1.06 billion of new property sales to-date, on track to meet their RM1.6 billion sale target this year.

WeFood is a charity project launched in 2016 where local producers and supermarket retailers donate their food surplus way past the expiry date to the organisation. 

This brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country to date to 1,725,357.
