NexG Bhd (KL:NEXG) plunged on Monday as investors of the company formerly known as Datasonic Group Bhd baulked at its diversification into property and construction businesses.

Bina Puri Holdings Bhd (KL:BPURI), which faces  multiple winding-up petitions, said it has sought the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee's assistance (CDRC) to mediate between the company and its lenders.

NexG Bhd (KL:NEXG), formerly Datasonic Group Bhd, is acquiring a 32.61% stake and 414.31 million warrants in Classita Holdings Bhd (KL:CLASSITA) for a total of RM76.78 million in cash, marking its entry into the property and construction sector.

Loss-making property developer Sentoria Group Bhd (KL:SNTORIA) said on Friday that its unit has received a notice of termination from Affin Bank Bhd for term loan facilities with an original limit of up to RM33.3 million.

SkyWorld Development Bhd (KL:SKYWLD) said the group on Friday entered into a deal to acquire 26.4 acres of  freehold land in Seberang Perai Tengah, Penang, for RM82.7 million.

Paramount Corp Bhd (KL:PARAMON) is buying four freehold land parcels in Bandar Lunas, Kulim—totalling 295.55 acres—for RM128.74 million. The land will be developed into a township with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM946 million.
