IOI Properties Group Bhd's share price fell 6.36% or 11 sen to an intra-morning low of RM1.62 after it reported a 72.8% decline in its net profit for the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2023 (1QFY2024), owing to an absence of a substantial fair value gain compared with a year ago.

Sime Darby Bhd's net profit its first quarter ended September (1QFY2024) rose to RM589 million from RM207 million in 1QFY2023, as all segments improved, led by the industrial division, coupled with a RM251 million gain on disposal of Malaysia Vision Valley land to Sime Darby Property Bhd.
