SEPANG (Nov 7): The aerotrain service at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 will undergo inspection and rectification works daily from 12am to 5am as part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety, efficiency and passenger comfort.

KLIA said that during this period, shuttle buses will operate at full capacity to ensure uninterrupted passenger transfers between terminals.

"These measures are part of our ongoing commitment to maintain safe, efficient and comfortable airport connectivity," it posted on Facebook on Friday.

The KLIA aerotrain was suspended in March 2023 for maintenance and upgrading works after a breakdown.

The driverless modern train resumed full operations on July 1 this year, following a RM456 million upgrade, part of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s RM742 million transformation initiative to elevate KLIA’s position as a leading regional aviation hub.
