KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 27): Suria KLCC has gained an entry into the Malaysia Book of Records for introducing the country’s first outdoor skating rink, unveiled under its ‘A Majestic Christmas’ campaign running from Nov 22 to Jan 4, 2026 in the city centre shopping mall.
KLCC Sdn Bhd executive director and CEO Francis Tan said that as an iconic destination at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Suria KLCC is more than just a shopping mall; it is a place where memories are made and experiences are shared.
“This year, our ‘Majestic Christmas’ theme, highlighted by the Christmas tree and the record-breaking First Outdoor Skating Rink in Malaysia, is designed to deliver an unforgettable, world-class holiday experience that brings joy and togetherness to all our visitors,” he said in a statement today.
At the Centre Court, shoppers are welcomed by a multi-tiered Christmas tree installation featuring interactive lights, festive melodies, and photo-friendly decor.
Inside the structure, the Mirror Room offers an immersive reflective space scented by Lancôme, while an Interactive Music Box lets visitors select classic holiday tunes synced with lighting effects.
A giant ornament display and complimentary festive photobooth complete the indoor experience.

Shoppers can also unlock tiered Christmas rewards:
Tier 1: Spend RM500 and above in a single receipt to receive two passes to the Festive Skating Experience.
Tier 2: Spend RM2,500 and above in two receipts to receive a RM100 Suria KLCC Shopping e-Voucher plus two skating passes.
Additional festive highlights include Santa meet-and-greets, Christmas carolling, wreath workshops, and a complimentary photobooth on select dates.
Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya joins the celebration from Nov 28 to Jan 4, 2026, with its own multi-tiered Christmas tree, lighted arches and weekend performances including kids’ ballet, dance shows, and magic acts.
Shoppers can also enjoy e-voucher rewards, festive workshops for VIKids members, and a Green Ribbon Pin charity initiative supporting NGOs advocating mental health.
Over in Terengganu, Mesra Mall rolls out a family-centric Christmas from Dec 5 to 31 with carousel-themed decor, hands-on festive workshops, and the VIKids Planet Carnival from Dec 25 to 29.
