KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 8): City Hall (DBKL) took rapid action to “pave and patch” a sinkhole that appeared along Jalan Tun Razak near the TRX building here this morning.

“The cause of the sinkhole was due to a ruptured outlet pipe. DBKL took swift action to repair the site to ensure users’ safety and prevent prolonged traffic jams at this high volume stretch.

“Repair works were completed this morning and traffic flow is expected to resume as usual,” DBKL posted on its social media pages at about noon, reported The Star.

The daily reported that the sinkhole on the left lane of Jalan Tun Razak, “heading towards Bukit Bintang direction”, caused a traffic jam that “stretched from the TUDM building to the KL-Seremban Highway” this morning.
