Elyas Sulaiman’s journey into real estate began during a difficult period in his life. At the end of 2011, he was jobless, broke, and supporting a young family. A friend encouraged him to explore real estate, and with nothing to lose, he borrowed RM1,500 to get started. “With no other options, I took a leap of faith and dove headfirst into learning everything I could about the industry,” he recalled.

After three months of relentless effort, Elyas closed his first deal, a moment that transformed his outlook and confirmed that real estate could be more than just a source of income. Over time, he discovered a deeper purpose in guiding clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives. He pursued formal training at Institut Penilaian Negara (INSPEN) and became a Probationary Estate Agent (PEA) in 2017, building a career grounded in integrity and professionalism.

Consistency in Elyas’s practice is the result of structure, focus, and teamwork. He prioritizes high-impact activities such as client follow-ups, listing management, and market updates while nurturing a strong referral network. He ensures his team consistently delivers value and maintains momentum.

Specializing in specific market segments and mentoring other agents

“Breaking through new milestones isn’t just about hard work, it requires clarity, consistency, and the right mindset,” he said. He emphasizes treating real estate as a business, focusing on a niche, building daily routines, leveraging digital marketing, and reinvesting in personal growth.

A defining moment in 2024 was closing his first industrial project, a terrace factory unit. The deal not only expanded his expertise but also deepened his understanding of investor mindset and negotiation strategies.
