KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 3): Desa ParkCity’s Year-End Light Festival at The Waterfront has returned with the iconic lakeside shining up nightly from 7pm to 10.30pm until Jan 4, 2026.
This year, the light festival will tell eight stories using “an evocative world where light is both art form and storyteller”, stated the Desa ParkCity in a media release.

Each installation carries a narrative:
1 Butterflies on the Lake—A metaphor for transformation, mirroring the evolving aspirations of an ever-growing community
2 Bamboo Grove—A gentle interplay between heritage and modernity, a nod to the past while embracing the future
3 Crystal Trees—A celebration of diversity, reflecting multifaceted brilliance through shifting hues
4 Moonlit Blossom—A poetic trail of light symbolising renewal and hope
5 Fairy Oak—A whimsical retreat, rekindling the innocence and optimism often lost in adulthood
6 Midnight Garden—A meditative journey inspired by nature’s quiet resilience
7 Arctic Nature—A moving installation by ISPKL inviting reflection on global change and our shared responsibility
8 Luminous Wings—A gateway into the promise and vision of Desa ParkCity’s upcoming new township in Petaling Jaya
